Additional Service.
At Rev.Engineer we specialise in reverse engineering services but we do have a wide range of additional service which can support your reverse engineering project.

Laser Scanning.
Laser scanning is a highly accurate non-contact, non-destructive digital technology that captures the 3D geometry of a physical object. Traditional measuring equipment, such as CMM touch probes or manual measuring tools only measure one data point at a time, making them a much more labour intensive, time consuming measurement method. With laser scanning you can record thousands of data points per second as the laser is moved over the part regardless of its geometry.
At Rev.Engineer we exclusively use Nikon Metrology laser scanners (handheld and CMM) as they are renowned for being the most accurate scanners on the market. Our handheld scanner are accurate to +-35 microns (0.35mm) and our CMM scanners have an accuracy of +-4 microns (0.04mm).

Inspection Measurement.
Inspection reports using scanning and probing enable you to verify the accuracy of manufactured components to allow for complex analysis and increased workflows. We offer a range of inspection reporting, from basic reports to bespoke reporting tailored to your exact requirements.
-
3D Printing.
Quickly prototype your reverse-engineered model with our in-house 3D printers. We can offer FDM, SLA, SLS & MJF 3D printing technologies and support a wide range of materials.
We appreciate that 3D printing or additive manufacturing is an ever-expanding industry, so we are happy to advise on materials and required technologies.
-
Laser Cutting.
Our in-house dual-head industrial CO2 laser cutter can also support your prototyping or batch manufacture. The laser cutter has a medium bed size of 1300mm by 900mm and can cut steel (2mm max), plastic, wood and much more. Like all our services we can work with you throughout the full process to ensure we deliver your desired results.
